Very sad we lost Dolly Parton, Tim Curry, and Peter Cullen in the space of 3 days.
This is one of my go-to karaoke songs, so I've sung it lots of times. This is the first time I'm playing it while singing.
I read an argument online between two trans people recently. One of them said that the Rocky Horror Picture Show presents a really bad stereotype of gender-nonconforming people as predators, it's bad representation, and we can do a lot better. The other one said that while yes, Rocky Horror is far from politically correct, and the way we talk about these things has improved a lot since then, Rocky Horror was still really important to them figuring out their gender identity so it was at least pointing some people towards greater understanding.
I can really see both sides of that argument so it's not really my place to wade into it.
